# Upload logfile in the kibana

Hi, I am new in Elasticsearch.
I am trying to upload a log file into elasticsearch by using data visualizer.
However, I ran to some error like below:

Thanks. Please don't post pictures of text, they are difficult to read, impossible to search and replicate (if it's code), and some people may not be even able to see them 🙂

Ok, you might want to override the settings and apply a grok filter.
It might also be worth raising an issue on [GitHub](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new/choose), as this is still considered experimental.
