# URL table too long

Hi I have a table Visualization for clickable URLs display but that urls are too long and that horizontal scroll is so weird.

¿Is there a way for truncate URLs?  
something like this

`<a href="realUrl"> truncated value </a>`

Using a field formatter you can specify an alternate value for the url label, but there isn't any way to specify that the urls should be truncated. I suggest filing a feature request at the Github repo [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new)
