# Use different timestamp than @timestamp in Timelion

In a normal visualization I can aggregate the data over the x-axis with "Date Histogram" over different date fields. So if I don't want to use the "@timestamp" field but my own how can I do that in Timelion?

You should be able to specify it as timefield=_fieldname_
