# User auto-logout in Elastic Cloud hosted Kibana

Hi Guys,

My first post here so I hope I'm in the right place. I'm looking for a way to add a more aggressive auto-logout time on Kibana in my hosted Elastic Cloud clusters.

We have sensitive customer in these clusters and it worries me that Kibana seems to stay logged in for days at a time without demanding a username and password, even when the browser is closed.

Is there a configuration parameter I can inject during cluster creation to set something like a 4 hour auto logout.

Hi @Jamalarm,

It's not possible to configure this yourself in the Elastic Cloud UI. I'd recommend opening a support ticket with your request, and they may be able to assist.
