# Username and password do not work on a shared dashboard

I am sharing a dashboard on a web page. To be able to see the dashboard, it asks me for username and password; I enter them, but it does not allow me to see the dashboard, it asks me again for username and password, and I cannot access

Hi- I think you might be running into one of the common issues with embedding Kibana. We've added a new section to the docs with more clear instructions:
