Hello, I would like to know if there would be any setting in order to use an S3 repository with shield installed in elasticsearch. I would also like to use curator for the snapshots. @dadoonet @warkolm

Are you having a issue with the S3 repository and Shield?

I am not having any problem with it yet. I wanted to confirm if it was possible to use it and curator. I didn't notice any flag for the username and password.

The S3 repository should not require any additional configuration because of Shield. You will need to use a user with the appropriate permissions to take snapshots, etc. To specify the curator user, you should be able to use the [http\_auth](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/curator/current/http_auth.html) flag.
