Hi. I have .net apps with serilog. Serilog is configured from this [doc](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/dotnet/master/serilog.html). I am using FileBeat to send log to elasticsearch.
I see \_metada.trace\_id and others \_metatda.\* fields in Kibana -\> Logs and can filter by them in Logs.
But i don't see this fields in Discover and can't filter or search.
All settings are default or from elastic documentation, no special custom settings. Fresh install.

Hi, what version of Kibana is this?

Did you run the setup command that comes with Filebeat? This adds saved objects such as index patterns and dashboards that can be viewed in Kibana:
[Filebeat quick start: installation and configuration | Filebeat Reference [7.13] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/7.13/filebeat-installation-configuration.html#setup-assets)

By the way, I don't see Serilog in the list of Filebeat modules: [Modules | Filebeat Reference [7.13] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/7.13/filebeat-modules.html)

Are you using a custom module to send the log data to Elasticsearch through Filebeat?
