# Vector Search on Elastic Cloud

Hello

I have set up some indexes in Elastic Cloud with a crawler and there doesn't seem to be a way to reindex and re-attach or retain a crawler. My questions are:

- Is there a way to add Vector search to an existing index without reindexing?
- If not, how would i go about creating an index with a crawler and Vector search enabled?

Any help much appreciated
