# Version sync vs development cycle/complexity

I've read that from version 5 the different pieces of the stack (elasticsearch/logstash/kibana..) are going to be released in sync.
> The Elastic Stack is more than just a name. It is an investment in building, testing, and releasing all products together.
I'm curious if this means that when there is a minor release of Elasticsearch 5.0.1 will there be a corresponding release of Kibana 5.0.1? Will it be possible to run out-of-sync version together - eg kibana 5.0 with elasticsearch 5.1?
