# Versions of elasticsearch logstash kibana

The latest version of elk is 6.3.1. But why are there alternate versions of 5 and 6 ? The version upgrades are as follows 6.3.1,5.6.10,6.2.4,5.6.9,6.2.3. Just to know, from which version did all these three products get into one. Is it in 5?

Please do not ping people who are not already involved in the issue.

Both the latest 5.x and 6.x branches are still being maintained, which is why you see releases for both of these.

In order to check version of logstash elasticsearch kibana, i hope it is --version. Am i right? on which filepath do you execute it (in linux)?
