# Watcher Alerts from MetricBeat metrics

Can we configure Watcher Alerts from MetricBeat metrics? For example, if Beats detects a spike in CPU or Memory usage, I'd like to set up a Watcher alert for that event, whenever it crosses a specified threshold. Any good links where to find more info regarding this?

Yes, you can. Metricbeat documents are just like any other document in Elasticsearch. Did you already check these two pages?
