# "Watcher" is not showing in Kibana Version 8.6.2

Hi,

I am using ELK 8.6.2. Till last week, I have the "Watcher" tab in the 'Alerts and Insights' inside the "Stack Management" menu. Can you guide me that how it can be restored back?

Hi @Kumar_Abhinav,

Interesting! Have you recently upgraded or changed any permissions? Can you check the [role permissions as per the documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/7.17/watcher-ui.html#watcher-security) to see if entitlements are the issue?

HI. @carly.richmond Many thanks for the message. I checked that this is due to the subscription issue. I am at Basic License and Watcher requires Enterprises edition or Platinum edition.
