# Watchers Issue(S)

While attempting to setup Watchers received a 500 error in Kibana. Log entry from Kibana:

Just to clarify, we are not upgrading, this is a fresh installation of Elastic stack

Hi Carl, did you just upgrade from 5.x by any chance? If so, then your problem may be similar to the one described in [ES 5.4 =\> 6.0 Upgrade. Watcher Issues](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/es-5-4-6-0-upgrade-watcher-issues/108481/2). Can you take a look there and let me know if it helps?

That did the trick. Not sure how I missed it in my Googlefu search. We are up and running. Again, thanks for the assist.
