# Ways to run es on arm/alpha architecture with lower es-versions

Hi all:
Does anyone know how to run es on arm/alpha architecture with lower es-version?
my es version is 5.4.2 and with lots of application running on it.
I can only found es version 7.8.0 which is suitable for arm,
and no alpha support found on website.
hope you guys could give me some solutions。

Welcome to our community! 😃 We aren't all guys though 🙂
5.X is [EOL](https://www.elastic.co/support/eol), and has been for a very long time. You should really upgrade as a matter of urgency. Otherwise, you might be able to run the tar.gz release on it, but we don't support it.
