Hello,

I would like to know elastic APM will support Websphere Application Server Network Deployment 8.5.5. We are planning to implement it in our development environment. It's been a while since I have seen any updates, is this still something that is expected to be added officially?

Hi and welcome to the forum 👋

I am afraid there is not a lot of new info to share with regards to official support, it is still on the roadmap with no concrete plans.

To be clear, _official support_ is mostly about running continuous integration tests with WAS, however we do expect it work properly, assuming you are using [supported technologies](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/java/current/supported-technologies-details.html). We know there are users that use our agent on WAS with success.  
Even the manual configuration that was formerly required to workaround OSGi issues is not required anymore.
