# What are the rules to follow for a quick search response from Elasticsearch?

I am using HIgh level Java Rest client and I am getting the search response in average of 2.34 seconds for the 1st time when I search for a keyword after the 1st search because of caching I am getting response in 600 or 700 milliseconds.

So,Is there any rules should I follow to make the response faster like in less than a second for the 1st time also.
