# What happen about error:can't specify parent if no parent field has been configured

my commands are:  
PUT company  
{  
"mappings": {  
"branch":{},  
"employee":{  
"\_parent": {  
"type": "branch"  
}  
}  
}  
}

PUT /company/branch/london  
{  
"name": "London Westminster",  
"city": "London",  
"country": "UK"  
}

PUT /company/employee/1?parent=london

}

what happen about the error **can't specify parent if no parent field has been configured**?
