# What types of node require license, or i need license for all node?

Hello team.  
I have build cluster with 67 node, as displayed in below table:

My question is that,

1. what types of node require license, or i need license for all node?

| Nodes | Count |
| --- | --- |
| Warm nodes | 16 |
| hot nodes | 21 |
| ingest nodes | 6 |
| master nodes | 3 |
| co-ordinator nodes | 2 |
| logstash nodes | 14 |
| curator nodes | 1 |
| elk-incident nodes | 2 |
| monitoring nodes | 2 |
| Total count | 67 |

Why do you have a node for curator? Why not just use [ILM](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/index-lifecycle-management.html)?  
What is an `elk-incident node`?
