Hi,

Is field data statistics based on documents in the table, i.e., 500 documents, or based on all hits documents?

The document
[https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/discover.html#viewing-field-stats](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/discover.html#viewing-field-stats)
does not explicit define it.

Thanks

Unless I am misunderstanding, it is explicit;

> From the field list, you can see how many documents in the Documents table contain a particular field, what the top 5 values are, and what percentage of documents contain each value.
