going through the [configuration reference](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/settings.html) there are a few properties listed.

i did find this generic config file [on github](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/blob/master/distribution/src/config/elasticsearch.yml)

there was another property `discovery.type` listed on the docker elasticsearch image example too.

but i can not find a clear list of available properties to be used in the yml (like the [docker-compose file reference](https://docs.docker.com/compose/compose-file/) for example).

can anyone point me in the right direction?
