I'm not using the Service Wrapper for Elasticsearch.

I specify the ES\_HEAP\_SIZE when I start Elasticsearch like this:

> ES\_HEAP\_SIZE=4g /usr/local/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch

Is there a place I can set this so it does not need to be specified on
launch?

You can set ES\_HEAP\_SIZE as environment variable in your shell.
