I suspect you're running the "master" branch of Kibana?
It is configured to work with the master branch of elasticsearch so you're working with our in-development source code which contains references to an as-yet-to-be-released version. You'll need to perform a build from the elasticsearch source if you want to work with these versions and with all the usual caveats around unreleased software
