Hi all,

I want to follow below article;
How To Install Elasticsearch on an Ubuntu VPS
[https://www.digitalocean.com/communi](https://www.digitalocean.com/communi)...-an-ubuntu-vps

installing Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana 4 on Ubuntu 14.04 VPS running on the VM of Oracle VirturalBox.

Host - Ubuntu 14.04 desktop

Please advise which following ISO will be suitable for this test?

[http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04/](http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04/)
ubuntu-14.04.2-server-amd64.iso/ubuntu-14.04.2-server-amd64.iso.torrent.
OR
a desktop ISO?

I expect keeping the Host clean only for running VirtualBox

Thanks in advance.

Regards
satimis

I think they are both equally suitable for testing. If you need a GUI, you should go for the desktop version. But I don't think you need a GUI, so the server version will do fine.
