Hello,

I'd like to know which cluster and index privilege are needed to create runtime field. I didn't find it in the doc.

Thanks in advance

Hi Shinki,

I guess you need index write privilege at index level to add runtime field.

@shinki927 Do you wish to add a runtime field to an index mapping or to a dataview? Which version of the stack are you running?

Thanks,
Matt

@shinki927

No special ES permissions are needed. Data View edit privileges (in Kibana) should be sufficient. let me know if you experience otherwise.

Thanks,
Matt
