# Why alerting is not allowing - (hyphen) in manage sender name?

Alerting is not allowing - (hyphen) in manage sender name but it's allowing in manage email group name.

In alerting it is not allowing - (hyphen) in manage sender name.

But it is allowing - (hyphen) in manage email group name.
