# Why does node disconnect after three time big gc?

I would recommend reading @danielmitterdorfer 's response to [this thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/where-can-i-find-info-on-the-status-of-g1gc-in-lucene-and-es/149526/6) around what and how we test before we declare something supported.
