# Why Logstash is receving data of past time?

Hi,

1. When i am running logstash, then i noticed that it is receving data from filebeat of long time back (means if a am running at 7 pm then data of 9 am is recevied.)

2. Also logstash is receving data from filebeat which it should not suppose to receive.

Please help me to understand this concept.

We will need some configs, both LS and Beats.

Looping in some Beats folks
