# Why should I add integrations in Kibana when there are indices in the relative Elastic search

I've already have some java log data in my Elasticsearch. But when I open Kibana, it tells me to add integrations first. I'm confused.

Thank you very much. I'd forgot to create data view. After doing that, I can see data in Discover.
