# Wildcards in field names

Is there a way to aggregate across fields with wildcards in the name? I have documents with a variety of structures, and I want to be able to aggregate across all fields with the name "special\_label". That field may occur in various structural places within the document.

Something like this would be great, but is not supported.

{  
"aggs" : {  
"aliases" : {  
"terms" : {  
"field" : "\*.special\_label",  
}  
}  
}
