I'm on some research into migrating an on-premises ELK server to the cloud, alongside with our application. However, as far as my research went, there is no logstash provided on the elastic cloud yet, right? The topic below, from Feb 2018, said that there was something towards this direction, but so far I've seen nothing.

That said, will Losgstash be a part of the cloud? Is there an open roadmap or calendar of when it willhappen?

Not having Logstash as a part of the elasticcloud makes it lose one of its pros, that is having the whole stack in the same place. Without it, it is better to provision a VM with the whole stack in my cloud provider.

> Hi all... In Kibana settings there are 5 fine settings elasticsearch, kibana, logstash, beats and security. What is "Logstash Pipeline" configuration if Logstash is not present in the stack? Otherwise, how can I use those pipeline definitions? thanks a lot, grad
