# Will metricbeat 5.6 support the http module?

I'm looking for the module "http" in metricbeat. Will it be part of release 5.6?

Hi Oli

We never backported the `http` module to the 5.x branch. It is available in the current 6.0.0-alpha2 release and all upcoming 6.x releases.
