I have a `geo_point` location field on every document. Some of these are pretty high precision and we do a lot of `geo_polygon` filters. For our use case, I don't need precision over 4 decimal places. Will rounding these before creating the document result in any performance improvement?

For instance, `[-73.986421834829, 40.7253832828]` will change to `[-73.9864, 40.7254]`

I'm on ES 2.4 (but we are looking to move to ES 5).

Thanks! Can you provide any details on why or in what way?

Because you need to do less work to get a match.
