# Windows Elastic-Agent Group Deployment

I’m looking at doing a mass deployment of the windows elastic agent (1000+ workstations) and looking for a “best or recommend” way. I have not seen an MSI for the agent. What are the recommendations for this?

Hi @Patrick.kirk Welcome to the Community.

Elastic Agent MSI is on the roadmap as far as I understand, but we do not provide release dates in advance.

As to best practices on windows, I will let others speak to that.
