Hi,

I know that Windows Embedded / IoT is not listed under [https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix](https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix)
But are there any experiences if it works on Windows Embedded?

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. If you're referring to the following operating system, it looks like it was based on Windows XP.

> Based on Windows XP with SP3, this version offers more features over Windows Embedded for Point of Service such as Full Localization and XPS support if .NET Framework 3.5 or higher is installed. Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 was released on December 9, 2008. Prior to XP's end of support, some Windows XP users have reported that the Regedit tool on their operating system can be used to 'trick' Windows Update into accepting updates targeting POSReady 2009. POSReady 2009 is also

Microsoft ended support for this OS earlier this year:

The last version of Go to support Windows XP was 1.10. Older versions of Beats based on Go 1.10 such as version 6.8.x may work for Windows Embedded 2009, but it's something we have not tested or officially supported.
