# Winlogbeat clarification

Hi,

We have winlogbeat OSS installed and has been working great.  
Recently we upgraded to the latest version and instead of downloading the OSS version, we ended up downloading the Non-OSS version.

What does this mean to future upgrades?

1. Do we have to first convert this to OSS and then upgrade?
2. Does this mean anything in terms of contract obligation?
