# Winlogbeat high cpu usage

Hi,

I have installed winlogbeat on my windows server.  
However it is causing high cpu usage. I am also attaching an image of the same.

Could you please the version of Winlogbeat, the configuration formatted with `</>` and the debug logs?

Hello we experience the same thing. so our alternative solution is to drop some events.  
However as we all know this agent is a lightweight agent and should not occupy so much resource. May I know what other fine tuning we can do

Please share your configuration. It is very hard to finetune something without knowing what it is 😉

Winlogbeat is indeed lightweight. But if you read many events and configure it to do some heavy processing, it might use more CPU.
