# Would it be possible to debug without CURL?

I'm running elasticsearch on a windows server and my manager does not want me to install curl. However, my elasticsearch cluster crashes frequently and all the debugging tools I found only use curl. Is there another debugging tool that can be used for windows?

I'm not sure what you're debugging, but most folks use Sense. I recommend  
the [Chrome plugin](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sense-beta/lhjgkmllcaadmopgmanpapmpjgmfcfig?hl=en).
