# X-pack Access control

Is there any way in which i can control access of specific user set (for eg : from a specific ldap group) using x-pack to have access limited resources in Kibana . I dont want them to access management TAB & Developer tools . Even happier if they dont see tthese TAB's in GUI when accesing Kibana ../Any versions of ELK is this possible ..Please do advice ..

Have you seen [Kibana Dashboard only mode](https://www.elastic.co/blog/kibana-dashboard-only-mode) ? You can [map LDAP groups](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elastic-stack-overview/6.3/ldap-realm.html#mapping-roles-ldap) to the `kibana_dashboard_only_user` role.

I want to same like this if a user logins ..He must be able to see only Discover/Visualize/Dashboard ..I think kibana\_dashboard\_only\_user ROLE will not provide that option i believe even if add any more roles ?
