# X-Pack monitoring with tribe node

Hello.
I have configured 2 clusters(dc1 and dc2) with tribe node. However , when I open up the "Monitoring" menu , I only see one cluster _dc1_ . I was expecting to see _dc1_ and _dc2_ at the top.
I saw [this page](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/x-pack/current/monitoring-cluster.html) in the document about the monitoring cluster but do you need a monitoring cluster to monitor separate clusters?

If you have multiple clusters, they all need to be monitored. Tribe won't pull in stats from other clusters.

Thanks as always.
So my choice for view dc2 will be ,
1. Send monitoring data from _dc2_ to _dc1_
2. Set elasticsearch.url to _dc2_
are these correct?

Basic licenses do not let you monitor multiple clusters, see [https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions)

Ah I see. Got it . Our customer's subscription starts at June . I will wait till then.
