# X-Pack not supported on windows?

it looks like you are running on 32bit Windows and a 32bit JVM. So unfortunately you can't make it work on this platform as you first require a 64bit Windows in order to install a 64bit JVM on it.

I am sorry, but we are not supporting 32bit, but require 64bit for the Machine Learning plugin. Note that this doesn't mean that X-Pack is unusable, only the ML plugin gets disabled. All other X-Pack features are not affected.

Nevertheless for production a 64bit system is highly recommended.

I know my machine is or should be 64 bit. Am I doing a wrong configuration. If not workable I will work towards using a Linux Server or a Windows 2012 Server. Also do you know pricing options for the x-pack. Thanks again.

It might be just a matter of the operating system, the machine type can still be and probably is 64bit. I suggest to install one of the supported 64bit OS's listed at [https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix](https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix)
