# X-Pack Security allow only to create a document but not to update it

Hello Comunity,

Is there a role in the security X-Pack that allows only the creation of a document in an index but not updating it? I have tried with the create role but besides creating a document it also allows the user to do an update. I am using Elasticsearch version 6.3
