@Badger As I understood you correctly, do you mean I need to use the --path.settings /etc/logstash at this command: sudo bin/logstash --path.settings=/etc/logstash?

Yes. If you do that then it will use the logstash.yml that you want it to.

Yep, that looks normal. The pipeline is running and if any data arrives then it will process it.

There are many threads in this forum that explain how to address that error message.
