My metricbeat default field brings in too much unnecessary data. Can i remove the fields in the index what I need. I have removed the Metricbeat processor to drop fields in the metricbeat configuaration .Still there are so many fields which unnecessary sending and size of the index is becoming huge…

The metric beat index size is incrasing rapidly.can we remove some of the fields present in the index
