Ability to supply path to custom module?

Hi,

So we developed a custom filebeat submodule which we'd like to use for filebeat.
However there seems no way to specify the path to this module?
We cannot copy it into /usr/share/filebeat/modules since that gets overwritten during installation.

Any ideas? Thank you.

you can clone the beats repo and add your module and build a custom binary to run.

I've found that if I rename it to a module directory that doesn't exit yet, it doesn't get overwritten.
