Accidentally deleted the logstash log in /var/log/logstash/logstash-plain.log. Not getting created on its own

Hi,

I accidentally deleted the logstash log and restarted the service. The logs are not getting created but the service is running well. Not sure where is it logging.

I tried touching the file and assigning the user and group as logstash. but still luck.

Any suggestion would be grateful.

I am using Logstash version 6.2.3-1 and log path is default /var/log/logstash
