Add tag if SNMP poll reaches its timeout

Hello,

I have recently started to use the SNMP plugin to poll a few devices and its great the only issue I am having is if the device reaches its timeout Logstash just logs it in its log file and I would like to have it so it tags it and then continues to go through the filter so I can have a dashboard for devices that are constantly timing out

is this possible? I was thinking if I can add a tag in the input if it fails but I'm not sure how I can accomplish this

I do not think it is possible. If the poll times out then the result set will be empty, and in that case the code does not create an event.
