I've also just confirmed this as well, as I was able to upgrade to 7.7.1 and am still experiencing the issue. I'll see about opening a ticket on their github. For reference, would you be able to provide the OS and way you installed? I'm seeing the issue on both OpenSUSE 15.x and CentOS 7-8 with the rpm install of auditbeat.
