Of course this is part of a bigger problem, the same happens on so many dashboards. To resolve this, the 'metric' visulisation should have an option to dynamically scale depending on the size of the metric so that it fits within the dashlet.. Not sure if this is doable though? This topic might be better placed in the Kibana discuss page. (feel free to move it)

Agreed. How these numbers look depends a lot on screen resolution, and window/widget size. I think this is the most fitting Kibana issue for this in Github.
