Capture Errors On Input

I'd like to add a pattern where errors that occur on the input are captured. I am using the snmp input plugin.

If the host is unreachable or anything else happens, I'd like to log the error/exception and send it to a different queue for analysis later on.

I didn't see anything in the input plugin or the common options that would help.

The closest thing I can see is enable_metrics which might give an error rate.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I do not think logstash provides a way to do that.
