Change in logstash configuration

Hi,

Here In our ELK. log stash have the sql query. Suppose if i want to add extra column in the sql query. Is it will impact the index like data lost any.

Please help me in this context.

Hi . Thanks for the reply what i meant if i change anything log stash configuration of a specific index . Is any possibility the same index will get the data or new index will be created. Is any possibility of lost of data.

I'm not sure how data would get lost in that.
